Creating personal systems to reduce stress

Do you set goals at the beginning of the new year to let them fizzle out before the month ends? When was the last time you took time to make a plan of what you wanted to accomplish and where you want to be in five years? Are you feeling stuck in your daily routine?

As a professional life coach, I work with individuals to create personalized, systems to move from where they are today to where they want to go!

Years ago, as a single mom, laundry drove me crazy! I would get stressed out as my weekend time was limited. The mounds of clothes went from the washer to the dryer and into the baskets. They could be in the basket for a day or so before I had time to deal with them. So you could only imagine the wrinkles, lost socks, and chaotic mornings this created.

I developed my personal laundry system (I still have this in place today) where when the clothes are done in the dryer, I deal with them one load at a time. Such as hanging, folding, and matching the socks and putting that load away. I found if I did a load of laundry a few evenings throughout the week, it decreased the total amount needed on the weekends.


One load at a time versus complete weeks worth in one day. There it is, completely done. Start to finish.
